Summary - The deceased was a 51 year old male who was a long term patient at Graylands Hospital and who died on 31 August 2010 from chronic obstructive pulmonary disease while .

The inquest was held together with the deaths of nine other persons who had been held in care as involuntary patients at Graylands Hospital immediately before they died.

The Coroner found the deceased died on 31 August 2010 from bronchitis (pandemic influenza A/H1N1 2009) in a man with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease. The manner of death was natural causes.
