Summary - The deceased was a 28 year old male who died on 22 May 2008 after he hanged himself after absconding from Graylands Hospital.

The inquest was held together with the deaths of nine other persons who had been held in care as involuntary patients at Graylands Hospital immediately before they died.

The Coroner found the deceased died on 22 May 2008 from ligature compression of the neck (hanging).  The manner of death was suicide.
