Inquest into the Suspected Death of Alfred Keith CROZIER

Delivered on: 26 June 2026

Delivered at: Perth

Finding of: Robyn Hartley

Recommendations: No

Orders/Rules: No

Suppression Order: N/A

Summary: Alfred Keith Crozier (Mr Crozier) was 59 years old when he was last known to be alive on 5 May 2013.

Mr Crozier disappeared not long after allegations of historical criminal conduct were brought to light. The revelation caused Mr Crozier significant distress, and he became suicidal. He executed an Enduring Power of Attorney granting financial authority to his wife and left the family home for the last time on 2 April 2013 without his car, passport, house keys or mobile phone.

A missing person investigation was undertaken in a bid to locate Mr Crozier. Despite their wide-ranging enquiries, Police were unable to find Mr Crozier. Repeated proof of life checks showed no activity by Mr Crozier since his disappearance in 2013

At the conclusion of the investigation, the Coroner was satisfied beyond all reasonable doubt that Mr Crozier is deceased. Given Mr Crozier’s body has never been located, a cause of death was unable to be established. The Coroner made an Open Finding as to the manner of his death.
